4-H projects are hands-on, project-based learning opportunities for members to learn a skill or pursue an interest.  Each project must meet for a minimum of six hours of instructional time with at least two approved adult volunteers.

Project leaders will choose the project meeting dates, times, and locations. Some projects meet monthly for the full 4-H year, others only meet for 3, 2-hour blocks to meet their hour requirements. 

In Orange County 4-H we have the option for members to take projects at the club level, county level, or sometimes cross-club. 

Club Projects - projects that are limited to members of the host club

Countywide Projects - projects that are open to members from any club

Cross-Club Projects - projects that are open to members of any club, but a little extra paperwork is required. (more info coming when available)

Complete the Project Interest form so we can let the project leader(s) know you are interested in joining. Please note that some projects are capacity limited and project enrollment will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Note: Signing up in ZSuite does NOT guarantee you a spot in a project. Visibility to lists in ZSuite is complicated and does not offer the option to limit project membership .
